Beauty Busters: Imperial Leather Skinkind
Imperial Leather always makes me think of my Granny, who used the classic Imperial Leather bars of soap for as long as I can remember. The smell of Imperial Leather brings back memories of my youth; it reminds me of being told to freshen up before dinner, to wash my hands after playing in the garden and of trying to wash dried up flour off my hands following an afternoon of baking with Granny.
I was kindly sent a sample of the Imperial Leather Skinkind to review on The Daydreamer's Beauty Busters page. Skinkind is a hypoallergenic body wash which is fragrance free, so it really is kind to your skin. It's perfect for sensitive skin types because there are no added fragrances, which can often irritate and dehydrate sensitive skin. With added moisturisers, you can feel safe in the knowledge that your skin won't be left feeling tight or dehydrated, so you can wash with Skinkind every day without worry - which is lucky, because you'll want to use it every day!
I was given the raspberry and lime blossom which smells so fresh and feminine. It's pretty, without being sweet or sickly. It's almost as though you can smell the sweetness of the blossom, which is counteracted by the tartness of raspberries! The gel itself is smooth, with little beads of jojoba oil (excellent moisturising oil) which, when lathered up with water, burst into a frothy heaven.
Imperial Leather is a great every day product that won't harm your skin after prolonged use and so would be perfect for families sharing a bathroom - the bottle is huge and you only need a small amount to wash your body. An every-day essential - Granny would be proud!
Imperial Leather Skinkind is available at Boots and Superdrug, as well as various supermarkets.
