She's Got It

I've been obsessed with The Sopranos recently, since Mr Man got me hooked four episodes ago. If I were a Soprano, I'd base my style on Christy Turlington in Italian Vogue (August). The cover says it all: "Modern & Classic". Her look says fire and passion but also has a soft, vulnerable side to it - somehow, it seems very "Italian" to me. This cover girl fits somewhere between the glamorous, sophisticated Sophia Loren and my imaginary missing Soprano, who has a touch of rawness and "street awareness" to her...nothing like I imagine the real Christy to be, or even how I imagine myself to be in another life (minus the fabulous Chanel clothes), but a woman I'd be interested to meet all the same.
It must be fun to be a model, or an actress - playing dress up and pretending to be someone different for the day.
