Pepperberry Style Challenge - Part 2
Well, last night I returned from my weekend in Edinburgh. I had a great time, Edinburgh's such a fantastic city - full of character, history and people without being frightening or sprawled across too many miles.
Saturday I had coffee at Vincaffe in Multrees Walk, did a bit of shopping (mostly at Bravissimo) before walking along Rose Street and having lunch. Later, I wandered down to the Grassmarket where the Jazz Festival was in full swing, before strolling down the Royal Mile where I found a refreshing cup of tea and watched all the people go by. Walking through the city on Saturday was a real treat, with so many buskers with what was obviously tons of talent and tourists and people just having fun.
Saturday night, Mr Man and I went to Tigerlily for dinner. I go to Tigerlily for cocktails with my girlfriends, so was excited to eat there for the first time. It was delicious, and I would definitely recommend it and most certainly I will return. Mr Man was particularly impressed with his scallops and orange tart. The wine was also rather heavenly.
Sunday was a scorcher of a day, with the sun beating down since early morning. Mr Man and I went to Princes Street Gardens where we enjoyed 99s and sat on the grass, chatting and people watching before walking along George Street and down some side streets, where we admired the buildings and basement gardens and a gorgeous cathedral (St Mary's?) by our hotel.
Overall, a wonderful weekend. With only being there for one night, I packed light - this Pepperberry dress worked perfectly for coffee and shopping during the day, keeping me cool and looking smart, but being comfortable, while it was also perfect with heels and eyeliner for dinner and drinks on Saturday evening. When I visited the Little Ladies' Room in Tigerlily, I was complimented on my dress by another lady, which always makes your day/evening that little bit more perfect.
Turns out the Pepperberry style challenge wasn't such a challenge after all - the collection is divine, and everyone will find that perfect piece for any occasion.
