I am in love with Ellos Blouson, this glossy black puffa jacket by La Redoute. Puffa jackets were a huge trend on the AW10/11 catwalks, seen at Valli, Giles and Akris (read my Vogue.com report here) and not only look stylish, but are practical in cold weather. The slight curve at the waist means this jacket will look neat, not bulky, while the colour is slimming, as well as universal - it'll fit right in with your staple wardrobe, making it perfect for travel. So, for any fashionistas heading off to the shows next month, this jacket is a no-brainer: warm and cosy for the bitter temperatures in New York and London, yet will fit right in with the ever-stylish Italians come the Milan shows. As for Paris? They'll adore the high sheen finish - slightly gothic, slightly sexy, definitely fashion. Team with a striped maxi skirt and you'll be ahead of the season - you know these fashion folk, always got to be wearing the last season showed. So for fashion week this February, you should be wearing an element of Summer 2011. Duh.
The best part? The jacket looks as though it might be modelled by Maria Carla in the pages of Italian Vogue, but in fact is on sale in the pages of La Redoute.
