Cookie Cutter Fashion

If you love fashion and you have a sweet tooth, then you might be interested to know that Millie's Cookies invited some great designers to create a Cookie Couture collection, due to launch alongside London Fashion Week this Friday. The gorgeous giant cookies will bring a taste of LFW to the masses and will be available from Friday 16th September with 10% of the proceeds going to charities including Save the Children, UNICEF, British Heart Foundation and Dementia UK.
Ok, ok! I won't hold you in suspense any longer! The designers involved are Clements Ribeiro, Elizabeth Lau, Lu Flux and Yang Du - so you can imagine the creativity behind the cookie designs! The giant cookies are tipped to be the must-have treat for fashionistas at LFW (and everywhere else, as the cookies will be sold nationwide). A very tasty opportunity indeed.
Famous for offering personalised iced Giant Cookies, Millie’s Cookies launched the Cookie Couture initiative to find which of the designers taking part in LFW 2011 had the perfect mix when it came to freshly baked fashion, giving them a list of ingredients as well as accessories to work with to ensure their design could be replicated with icing on one of the brand’s famous Giant Cookies. With the first batch of Millie’s magic coming straight out of the oven in Selfridges on Oxford Street way back in 1985, the link between fashion and the famous cookie company has always been there.
At £12.99 for a yummy giant couture cookie, it's the perfect treat for sharing with fashionable friends this fashion week, while devouring the SS12 show pictures on Vogue.com

Unfortuately, due to personal circumstances, I had to cancel my LFW plans - I'll happily console myself with my Elizabeth Lau cookie!

Below are some celebrity fashion week attendees that I think would enjoy a couture cookie from Millie's - refreshingly curvy and shaped like real women - real women, who like real food!
