Day 3 of London Fashion Week and so far my favourites collections are by Issa London, Jonathan Saunders, Richard Nicoll and Julien Macdonald. Read my coverage of London Fashion Week on the Girl Meets Dress blog, where you'll see the dresses that I am coveting for SS12 and which dress trends will be big next season. Think pastels, sheers, prints, all sorts of lengths. A recent emerging trend is the red dress which was seen at Westwood, Howell and Jensen.
Another great collection was by iconic British label, PPQ. They showed at LFW on Friday night and the collection features lots of pastel mini dresses and colourful hair (Elle Macpherson must have predicted something major when dying Anastasia's hair pink on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model) as well as some fantastic hosiery.
Unsurprisingly, the hosiery was designed for PPQ by Scottish label, Bebaroque. The SS12 PPQ collection features ankle socks, knee socks and bodies which all feature Bebaroque's signature embellishment.
It's little wonder that PPQ and Bebaroque have collaborated; they are both distinctly directional brands that love colour and individuality. The SS12 collaboration is definitely one to watch out for in the magazine editorials early next year, and it's sure to hit the high street soon after.
