I'm a huge fan of the trench / mac for spring - it provides enough warmth for the chilly mornings but is light enough so that you don't work up a sweat on the commute to the office. It looks chic and timeless and goes with everything so is an obvious staple that should be in every woman's (and man's) wardrobe; the mac is the go-to cover up when all else fails. If you choose a shower proof mac, you'll keep dry through these April showers - nothing worse than arriving at work looking like a drowned rat. So not a good look.
