MAC AW11
Earlier this year I met the delightful Anais and Lynsey from the MAC Cosmetics team. They spoiled me rotten at Tiger Lily in Edinburgh while updating me on all things MAC for this season. The products are actually amazing with a lot of thought, time and effort going into the production and delivery of the products. For instance, the Mineralize collection features real particles of gem stones. MAC is also running a campaign for the public, MAC Me Over which is really great fun and as always, MAC are totally open to all types of beauty.
Anais works tirelessly in the MAC press office and was kind enough to give me a book on all the major shows that MAC worked on for AW11 (Lynsey is a MAC artist who regularly works on tops shows such as McQueen) which I have photographed below, along with samples of the AW11 products. The lipsticks are a particular favourite of mine, in juicy looking colours. Of course, there is a classic red too, which fits in perfectly with this season's 40s trend.
