I absolutely adored Olivier Theyskens' work at Nina Ricci, and his new role as artistic director at Theory is more than a little exciting. The 34 year bold Belgian designer brings a lot of new qualities to the label known for creating wardrobe staples, giving a slightly darker twist for both Theyskens and Theory fans alike. Theyskens' signature ethereal and romantic-goth vibe is evident in the clothes yet, somehow, he doesn't lose the relaxed philosophy and classic aesthetic that Theory is renowned for. Olivier Theyskens is going from Rocha to Nina Ricci to Theory - read this as Olivier Theyskens is going from strength to strength to strength.
Theyskens' Theory? Yes, please.
