Kelly Love

Kelly Love is possibly one of the most anticipated designers of the moment, with celebrities including Duffy, Kelly Osborne and Rihanna sporting her designs. The collection, Song of the Rainbird, has been heavily influenced by music and actually was born out of a song. A collaboration with the up and coming band, Nova’s Basement, saw the birth of the AW11 collection, which has a distinctly vintage vibe with a thoroughly modern aesthetic.
The somewhat 60s designs come in a versatile palette of navy, black, white and grey with pops of olive and fuchsia, influenced by the elegant, refined chic often seen in Paris and the beautiful, enchanting prints and colours of Japan. Exclusive prints are featured on heavily sand washed silk, while fur and mohair are uniquely painted to give texture, whilst the light-weight suede and felted wool adds a luxe appeal to the collection. (Having worked previously with high end designers, Kelly Love appreciates and understands the importance of quality fabrics such as French lace and silk).
The Kelly Love spirit is one of quirky femininity and understated sex appeal - the timeless elegance, the clean lines and the impeccable cut (along with the muted colour palette) gives this stunning collection a mysterious and intriguing personality.
