BLACK AND WHITE TRIBAL
While there’s nothing necessarily groundbreaking about this one, a good monochromatic tribal geometric group is essential for your Spring 2015 collection. Experiment with scale and technique for ways to keep this trend looking fresh. Check out the spring shows from L.A.M.B., Adam Lippes, Nanette Lepore, and Ulla Johnson for more great examples. Tropical leaf prints have been steadily growing in popularity over the last year or so, and if you follow our Leafy pinterest board you will need no proof of this. And if the Spring runway shows have any sway, they won’t be going away anytime soon. In fact, this board was a little hard to make only because there were so many great runway designs to choose from, it was difficult to decide which to use! Check out the spring shows fromJosie Natori, Tomas Maier, Nicole Miller and Matthew Williamson to get more ideas on how to approach this trend. Osklen, Clover Canyon, Tracy Reese all via Style.com

One of our absolute favorite eras in textile design turned out to be a major theme on the runway this season; the groovin’ 60s and 70s. Today we’re featuring quirky geos that would give any Mod a good flashback. For additional examples of this hip trend, check out collections from Trina Turk and Orla Kiely.
