I am a sun worshipper. I feel better when I've spent time outdoors in the sunshine, and boy, do I like it hot! Not so hot that I'm sweating (that's gross and tres not chic) but hot that I feel the sun penetrate my British skin and literally bring it to life; my skin tone, my hair and my nails all look so much healthier when I've spent some time beneath the sun's rays and I think this is proof that I must suffer from SAD. If I don't manage a holiday a year, I get very, very sad and start to look a bit dead, if I'm honest.
My life saver?
NARS bronzer in Laguna. This bronzer is AMAZE. It's matt, but luminous. No shimmers but it lifts the skin and gives a really natural, bronzed glow. It's easy to over do it - I can get carried away in the depths of January - but when applied with an enormous brush (and without a cocktail in hand), NARS Laguna is the best bronzer I have ever tried. Ever.
I feel as though nothing much more needs to be said. If you like to look brown, buy it. If you like to look bronzed, buy it. If you like a little cheekbone definition, buy it. Dust it just under the cheek bone (into the hollows of your face when cheeks are sucked in) and down the bridge of your nose. Highlight the brow bone and the upper cheekbone and temple for a sultry summer look, or add a touch of pink blush for winter.
NARS Bronzer in Laguna is versatile, easily applied and comes in a matt compact with mirror. It's £24 very well spent - only thing is, it doesn't last me too long...
